Partnership between Lito Aviation Academy and Safe

Lito Sousa (creator of Aviões e Músicas) is now the head of the largest aviation school in Latin America, the Lito Aviation Academy. With more than 2000 students enrolled in 2025 alone, the school has brought a lot of innovation to the segment of training aviation professionals.

With rapid training and a focus on airlines, Lito Academy has established important partnerships with the main players in the segment.

After leading the way in training aircraft mechanics, air engineers and flight attendants, the school is now investing heavily in pilot training. With the acquisition of a modern Boeing 737 simulator, it has also invested in bringing commander Mauro Jucewicz on board to coordinate the course. Mauro, who is still active and an international master pilot, has more than 25 years of active airline experience. As well as coordinating the course, he is also one of the main teachers in various subjects.

Following its expansion plan, Lito Academy has entered into a strategic partnership with SAFE Aviation School, which takes care of all the practical instruction.

With this alliance, students now benefit from end-to-end pilot training. Both schools share the same philosophy: focus on safety and airline preparation.

SAFE has a fleet of 8 new aircraft, 7 of which have digital instruments. Students can fly COLT, Montaer, P-mentor and other aircraft at one of the school's branches: São José dos Campos or Campinas.

"The partnership represents a unique opportunity for all clients/students to acquire the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge and also receive career advice directly from pilots who are extremely experienced, and who will share the students' day-to-day, various personal and professional guidelines so that they follow a faster and less turbulent route for those who wish to enter the airline." - said Lito Sousa, founder of the Lito Aviation Academy.

In addition to the students who join the course for professional reasons, the school also receives many interested people who just want to become pilots for the pleasure of flying.

"We get a lot of people who aren't interested in flying professionally, but want to fulfill their dream of being able to fly an airplane. Many people ask me what the age limit is for flying, and I always say: as long as your Aeronautical Medical Certificate allows." Comments Lito, who got his license at the age of 53 at SAFE.

The partnership between Lito Aviation Academy and SAFE was made official on June 18 both on the official Aviões e a Músicas YouTube channel and announced at the Brazil stand at the Paris Air Show in Le Bouget, France, which is the largest aeronautical business event in the world.
